Germany have been somewhat disappointing this UEFA Euro but they are slowly making some improvements. Toni Kroos have been as consistent as always and he's a crucial player for coach Joachim Löw if they want to reach European glory, but Germany still need some more creativity and firepower upfront to turn their dominance into goals.
Slovakia should be a good test for them, given that they will most likely play with a defensive-minded style that will make things difficult for Germany's offensive line.
Löw is not expected to make many changes in his starting XI, trying to find their momentum and groove before the tough matches begin. Germany will face the winners of the Italy-Spain match in the quarter-finals and that's why Löw must find some improvements if they want to compete for the title.
Kroos is the man who allows Germany to be a dominant side, but Özil, Müller, Götze and Co. still need to step up their game.
