He will get a salary raise as well.

Zinedine Zidane will get a contract extension and a salary raise in the upcoming weeks, according to reports from Spain. The Frenchman is still under the same contract he signed when he became Castilla's coach because he did not want to speak about a new deal when he took care of the first team, but Real Madrid will give him a significant salary raise to place him amongst those elite coaches in Europe.

Zidane became Madrid's manager early in January and soon the team started to get better results. He has ended the season by winning a prized 11th Champions League title for Los Blancos and also by keeping the race for La Liga title alive until the very last week when Madrid were 10 points behind Messi and Co.

Real Madrid will be hoping to get that same kind of results from Zidane next season as the French coach will have a full pre-season and training camp to add new systems and ideas to the team.
