Jesé's agent visits the Bernabéu to negotiate contract extension

Will the attacker stay in the Spanish capital?

It hasn't been an easy season for Jesé Rodríguez, who spent most of Real's games sitting on the bench and waiting for a chance to prove his worth even after his encouraging pre-season with Los Blancos.

Lucas Vázquez's performances did not make it any easier for Jesé as he was ahead of Jesé on Zidane's rotation later in the season, but agent Ginés Carvajal visited the Santiago Bernabéu this morning to negotiate a contract extension between Jesé and Real Madrid, according to COPE.

Jesé could still be a relevant player on this roster if Madrid don't sign another striker, being Benzema's first replacement in the center of Madrid's offensive line. However, it would make sense both for Madrid and the player to listen to offers if some other club is willing to give Jesé the minutes he needs to develop as a player.

Jesé will likely be involved in transfer rumors this summer, so stay tuned for more news.
