Real Madrid published a medical report on Danilo, confirming that the Brazilian defender will have surgery on his right heel, as expected.
Following tests on our player Danilo, the decision has been taken to carry out an endoscopy on his right heel. The operation will take place on the 9th June in Madrid by doctors Niek van Dijk, Pedro Luis Ripoll and Mariano del Prado, under the supervision of the Real Madrid Sanitas medical services.
Danilo played through pain for several months as Madrid desperately needed him to feature when Dani Carvajal was out. The Brazilian defender visited doctor van Dijk last February and decided that he would repair his ankle during the off-season, so Danilo should be ready to begin the pre-season with the squad 100% ready to play and prove his worth after a difficult debut season for Real Madrid in which he did not earn a starting spot.
