How many analysts expected Wales to be in the Quarterfinals? Not only they won their Group, they also have a chance to play against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in the semifinals if they manage to beat Belgium tonight.
It's true that Hazard, Lukaku and Co. should probably be considered the favourites in this match, but they have been struggling against defensive-minded opponents and that's precisely how Wales should play in order to take advantage of Bale's speed off counterattacks.
This is Wales' most important football match ever, as Gareth Bale said during the pre-match press conference, but they surely don't want to stop here and they have a decent chance to play in the next round of the UEFA Euro if their defense can hold the team together.
It will not be easy to contain Hazard, De Bruyne, Mertens, Ferreira-Carrasco, Witsel, Lukaku and Batshuayi. That's a very powerful attacking line and even though they won't obviously play together tonight, Marc Wilmots has plenty of options to choose from.
