Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese teammates will try to bounce back from their disappointing defeat in the 2004 UEFA Euro Final against Greece. This could be another big trophy for Ronaldo, who is trying to add yet another Ballon D'Or to his resume after conquering the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid last May.
However, they'll have to beat France, who are hosting the tournament and will have the fans supporting them in Paris. Antoine Griezmann has been in excellent form and France's physical midfield will be very hard to stop, even with Renato Sanches starting for Portugal.
All in all, France have enough tools to be considered the favourites here. Portugal will most likely play with a defensive-minded system and then try to create chances off counterattacks with Ronaldo and Nani upfront. Coach Fernando Santos has built a very solid Portuguese team and they are just 90 minutes away from European glory.
