Real Madrid will give Álvaro Morata a new deal that will make him the player with the third highest salary in the club just behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, according to Spanish journalist Roberto Gómez. Madrid will finally keep the player and they'll have to match the offers he had from the Premier League.
"Morata will stay and he will be Real's biggest signing this summer, he is going to become the third player with the highest salary in the squad and the club are even thinking about presenting him to send a message to the other players in the academy," said Roberto Gómez.
Morata had concerns about the minutes he will get in Madrid, but Gómez reports that Pérez and Zidane made him believe in his chances to be a very relevant player. He could have a good chance to make his case for a starting spot while Cristiano Ronaldo is injured.
