Three seasons being Real Madrid's fourth center-back have been more than enough for Nacho Fernández, who appears to be ready to leave the Spanish capital and join AS Roma this summer. According to TMW, Roma and the defender will meet this Wednesday to discuss the player's future role with the Italian club and see if he would finally be keen on a move away from Madrid.
It would be important for Los Blancos to replace Nacho after Diego Llorente's loan to Málaga was confirmed last week. Varane, Ramos and Pepe will most likely get most of the minutes, but another defender would be very useful considering how long this season will be.
Nacho has been a very important asset in this club and he patiently waited for his chances, so he now deserves the opportunity to be a relevant player elsewhere and possibly become a starter in the Italian Serie A.
