André Gomes will become a Real Madrid player very soon, according to reports from Spain. Real Madrid and Valencia are finalizing a deal for the Portuguese midfielder and Los Blancos will pay around €50 million + €10 million in bonuses depending on the team and the player's success over the next few years.

Florentino Pérez and current Valencia CF owner Peter Lim have a good relationship and they have completed some other deals lately, as Denis Cheryshev's loan and Álvaro Medrán's signing for the Mestalla club. Furthermore, Valencia need the money and that's precisely why they are almost about to accept a €50 million deal for Gomes.

André Gomes signs for Madrid as a long-term replacement for Luka Modric, even though that's also Kovacic and maybe even Isco's role. Zidane wanted to add some more depth to his midfield after the deal for Pogba didn't work out and Gomes appears to be the chosen one.
