Contrary to what some reports indicate, Chelsea and Real Madrid have not negotiated over Eden Hazard, according to ABC. With Metro reporting this week that their talks had begun with Chelsea asking for Álvaro Morata and cash in exchange, it now seems not only that Madrid don't entertain that offer but also that Los Blancos are not that interested in the attacker.
Hazard has had one very difficult season with Chelsea and it's hard to see him playing in front of either one of Real Madrid's attackers. He's still a quality player as he's proved during this UEFA Euro 2016, but Chelsea would probably ask too much in return because of his first couple of seasons with the club.
Real Madrid are still looking for their galáctico signing this summer, with Paul Pogba reportedly being the main candidate to add some more depth to the team's midfield line, if Madrid finally decide to spend around €100 million on him.
