Gabriel Jesús has decided to join Manchester City next January, according to a report from MARCA. The Brazilian attacker was on both Barcelona and Real Madrid's radar and even though Los Blancos ultimately thought they could sign him, new Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola called the player and convinced him of joining the Barclays Premier League, per that same report.
City will pay around €32 million for Palmeiras' Gabriel Jesús, one of the most promising players in Brazilian football.
He's been labeled as the "next Neymar" because of his dribbling ability and his good finishing. Gabriel Jesús likes to play on the left wing but he can also be the main striker.
With him, Manchester City will have some of the most dangerous attackers in European football in Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Agüero, David Silva or Raheem Sterling. Gabriel Jesús will reportedly join them next January, when the Brazilian league ends.
