It's time for James Rodríguez, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric to get back to work. All three of them enjoyed some days off after being knocked out relatively early of the Copa America and Euro 2016, and while they might not be available until Madrid's third friendly, they will be crucial in the upcoming UEFA Supercup against Sevilla.
All eyes will be on James Rodríguez. The Colombian midfielder has said that he wants to stay with Madrid and compete for a starting spot, but Madrid might be willing to part ways with him if he is not happy with his role off the bench. Furthermore, he has recurring problems on his left shoulder and Madrid's medical staff will test him to see if he requires surgery to repair his injury.
It will also be important for Ramos and Modric to take care of their body as this will be a very long season for Real Madrid.
