Live Match Thread: Real Madrid vs. PSG; 2016 International Champions Cup

Real Madrid play their first pre-season match against Unai Emery's Paris St. Germain.

realmadrid.com - Antonio Villalba

Real Madrid are all set to play Paris St. Germain at the Ohio stadium in Columbus.

After some tough days of training, the squad looks in good spirits and ready to tackle the new season. However, don't expect too much from Real Madrid in only their first pre-season match. They are missing a fair amount of starters and will be focusing mostly on testing their fitness and technical abilities. It would be extremely surprising if Real Madrid came out onto the pitch and executed a cohesive tactical plan. This match will most likely be disorganized, slow, and rather boring. Consider the outing a success if every player leaves the pitch with no injuries.

Info on PSG:

PSG have won the two games that he has taken charge of so far. One against West Bromwich Albion (2-1), with goals from Rabiot and Lucas Moura, and the other against Inter Milan (3-1). Aurier, with a double, and Kurzawa scored on the French side's debut at this edition of the International Champions Cup. Krychowiak and Ben Arfa are some of the reinforcements brought into a team that can no longer count on the services of Ibrahimovic and Digne among others.
