Real Madrid and Barcelona want to sign Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesús, who plays for Palmeiras. He just turned 19 years old last April and plays on the left wing.
Barcelona offered €19 million for Gabriel Jesús but it seems that a deal could get done at around €25 million, no matter which club finally signs the attacker. Apparently, and according to a report from Sport, Barcelona will improve their offer and will also tell Neymar to convince Jesús of joining Barcelona during the Olympics. Meanwhile, Sport also indicate that the player would rather sign for Barcelona.
Real Madrid's interest in the player could be just something to increase the price for Barcelona, given that it would be hard for Los Blancos to find room for Gabriel Jesús on their current roster. Furthermore, Marco Asensio seems like a much safer bet to play there in the future, meaning that Madrid apparently don't need Jesús. Still, Florentino Pérez might not want to lose another Brazilian gem after what happened with Neymar.
