EA Sports launches campaign to vote for FIFA cover athlete, James Rodríguez amongst candidates

The fans vote.

EA Sports' FIFA 17 will let the users decide which player features on the cover. James Rodríguez, Marco Reus, Anthony Martial and Eden Hazard are the candidates. You can vote here.

Here's what EA Sports published about it:

Four of the best talents in world football. One global FIFA 17 cover star. The decision is in your hands. Vote and share each day from July 5 to July 19 to get your favourite star on the pack and unlock awesome weekly rewards in FIFA 16.

FIFA 17 will launch late September and EA announced the following features.

Complete innovation in the way players think and move, physically interact with opponents, and execute in attack puts you in complete control of every moment on the pitch.

SET PIECE REWRITE

From free kicks to penalties to corner kicks, inject personality and experience control from every dead ball situation.

PHYSICAL PLAY OVERHAUL

A transformation in the way players physically interact in all areas of the pitch. Control is now in your hands as you battle for space and possession.

ACTIVE INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM

A brand new system introduces constant spatial analysis, increases activity off the ball, and changes the way players move, read, and react.

James Rodríguez has been rumored to be on his way out of Real Madrid, so if a transfer happens and the Colombian ends up being the chosen one to feature on the cover, EA Sports will most likely be forced to change the whole thing.
