UFC star Conor McGregor cannot keep a secret. The fighter publicly revealed during a press conference ahead of the event UFC 202 that Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid have agreed to a contract extension.
"Being ahead of Ronaldo in the Forbes list?He just told me that he signed a contract extension with Real Madrid, so that will be tough," said McGregor, who has a good relationship with the Portuguese attacker.
Of course, the deal between Ronaldo and Madrid might not be signed just yet. However, the deal is most likely agreed and it is just a matter of time before it becomes official.
Cristiano Ronaldo will turn 32 years old next February and this new deal will reportedly expire in the summer of 2020 or even 2021, meaning that the Portuguese star could end his career in the Spanish capital.
He suffered a knee injury during the UEFA Euro 2016 Final and will miss the first few games for Real Madrid this season.
