Real Madrid decided to unveil Alvaro Morata at the Santiago Bernabeu today, probably to show him the support and trust he needs before the real season starts, a season in which he will be competing with Karim Benzema all year long.

The Spanish attacker delivered an emotional speech and discussed what it felt like to be with Real Madrid again.

"I'm at the best club in the world, the club that has won 11 European Cups and hopefully can win many more titles," said Morata.

The attacker knows that it will be hard for him to play relevant minutes with so many quality players on Real's roster.

“Real Madrid and Juventus are two teams in the top level in Europe. At Juve I had competition, but the best players in the world are here. I'm going to give everything in order to play. I'll train well and try to always be a starter, although this is a team and I can't only think about myself, if not I’d play tennis or chess. The coach decides. He has shown confidence in me and it's obvious that the three who play up front are from another world," he explained.

Morata will possibly begin the season as a starter given that Benzema is still trying to get in shape after the hip injury he picked up during the preseason.
