According to Marca, Gareth Bale is renewing his contract with Real Madrid till the year 2021, which would see his annual earnings rise to 10 million euros. This would put him on equal footing with Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos and just behind highest earner Cristiano Ronaldo in the salary charts.

Real Madrid are supposedly rewarding Bale for his performances in the European Championship and for his club performances.

According to the same report, Ronaldo will sign a contract extension this November, ensuring that two of the biggest galácticos of all time will see out their immediate future with Real Madrid.

But these two aren’t the only one Florentino Perez is trying to tie down. As stated in another report by Marca, Luka Modric is next in line for a contract extension due to the Croatian being the focal point of Carlo Ancelotti’s, Rafa Benitez’s, and Zinedine Zidane’s tactical plans.

Madridistas should be delighted to hear this news, as it looks like the core behind two successful Champions League triumphs in only 3 years are going nowhere.
