James Rodríguez doesn't have a guaranteed spot in Real Madrid this season. Even though it seems that the Colombian playmaker will finally stay in the Spanish capital, reports from Spain indicate that Arsenal and Chelsea will be paying close attention this weekend.
Apparently, and according to those same reports, Real Madrid's squad list which will be published today will be decisive. If Zidane leaves James out of the list he will be making a statement and proving that there is no room for the Colombian midfielder, who is willing to stay and fight for a spot.
Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta said yesterday that there is almost "zero chance" the Italians buy James this summer. They are reportedly interested in Isco as well, but Zidane would rather keep Isco and sell James.
Either way, Zidane has some decisions to make. This will be Real Madrid's last match before the deadline, so Zidane's message will be very important towards James' future in Madrid.
