Although reports throughout August suggested that James Rodríguez was the one attacking midfielder who could be on his way out of Real Madrid, it now seems that Tottenham and Juventus feel like they can still sign Isco away from Madrid before the transfer window ends, according to COPE's Paco González.

Either way, it seems that Real Madrid will stay put in the market, meaning that no departures or signings are expected right now. For better or worse, this will almost certainly be the roster for the next two seasons, given that Real are expected to receive a transfer ban of two windows.

Isco has not managed to be a regular starter for Real Madrid even since he signed for the club three years ago. Even if he shines this season, it will be hard for him or James to start regularly given that Zidane has proven many times that Casemiro is an undisputed starter.
