Jorge Mendes: "James will stay with Real Madrid"

With Real Madrid almost certainly going to stay put in the transfer market, James and Isco's future in the club remains the only mystery to be solved during this deadline day.

James Rodriguez's agent Jorge Mendes spoke to El Chiringuito last night and confirmed that the Colombian playmaker will stay with Real Madrid.

"James Rodriguez will stay with Real Madrid. He will stay, that's for sure," he said.

There were reports all summer long suggesting that James was set to leave the club as he is not a key player in Zidane's mind. Chelsea and Juventus appeared to have much interest in the midfielder, who will finally stay and fight for a spot in the starting XI.

Zidane has proven many times that Casemiro is an undisputed starter in this team, meaning that both Isco and James will not find the minutes they want very easily unless Toni Kroos or Luka Modric get injured.
