The Norwegian kid needs relevant minutes away from Segunda B.

Martin Ødegaard has had enough of Real Madrid Castilla, according to The Sun. Real's B-team were expected to promote to Segunda División last season and then play much more competitive football this year, but they ultimately failed and some of their most promising players like Mariano or Mayoral will leave the club searching for relevant minutes elsewhere.

That's the case for Ødegaard as well. The Norwegian prospect has not adapted well to the Segunda División B, but it's not his fault. It's a very tough competition for such a young man, playing against physical veterans who want to make a statement against a famous kid.

All in all, Ødegaard wants to join Liverpool on a loan deal this season, according to The Sun. Apparently, and according to that same report, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp would be keen on having Ødegaard playing for him next season.

Real Madrid are not considering a permanent deal or a transfer involving a buyback clause. It would only be a loan.
