Neither Real Madrid nor Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced Jesé Rodríguez's signing for the French club, but they have scheduled a press conference this Monday and owner Nasser Al-Khelaiffi all but confirmed the move to BeIN Sports.
"Are we going to unveil a Spanish attacker coming from Madrid? Yes, I believe so..." said the president.
While details of the transfer won't likely be announced, PSG are expected to pay €25 million for Jesé, with Real Madrid keeping a clause that will allow them to match any offer PSG accept for the attacker in the upcoming years. This means that if Los Blancos decide to match, they will automatically be able to negotiate with the player.
Jesé was going to play a minor role this season, but this is still a very risky move for Real Madrid considering his potential. Furthermore, the clause included on the deal is not as good as a buyback option, given that PSG will have to decide to get rid of the player if Madrid want him back.
