Do Real need more signings?

It's official. Manchester United have signed Paul Pogba away from Juventus and therefore Real Madrid have lost their main transfer target of the summer.

Los Blancos were very interested in the French midfielder but ultimately decided to give up on him given that Juventus and agent Mino Raiola wanted a fee Real were not willing to accept.

Florentino Pérez and the rest of the board have upgraded the team with the addition of Morata and Asensio, but many fans and analysts expected more signings as Real Madrid are most likely facing a transfer ban of two windows. Players like Ramos, Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo or Pepe are not getting any younger.

Either way, it looks like Real Madrid will stay put in this transfer market. Asensio and Morata can perform well but Los Blancos will probably need more from other reserves like James or Isco if they want to compete for all three titles in what will be a very long season.
