Decent day for Real Madrid's international players.

Belgium 0-2 Spain: Álvaro Morata got injured early in the game and the injury was serious enough that he needed to leave and be replaced by Diego Costa. Coach Julen Lopetegui said that Morata's knock isn't that bad and that he left the game as a precaution. Carvajal played 84 minutes and performed very well while Ramos completed the game and could enjoy some minutes off in Spain's next match. Lucas Vázquez entered the match during the second half and was useful as usual on the right wing. Belgium played poorly on Roberto Martínez's debut match as their coach.

Portugal 5-0 Gibraltar: Pepe scored Portugal's last goal and played the whole match. The defender is trying to get in shape as he will battle with Raphaël Varane for a starting spot this season.

Italy 1-3 France: Varane played very well in the center of France's defense and completed the match as well. France dominated Italy and earned the win.
