Álvaro Morata left Spain’s friendly against Belgium earlier with a leg injury, but thankfully it seems it’s not serious.
Per Al Primer Toque, La Roja’s new manager Julen Lopetegui spoke and said, “Morata had the feeling that he could've a muscular problem but luckily enough he didn't.”
Morata asked to be subbed, pointing to his right thigh, which raised concern there could be structural damage, but it seems it’s just a knock. Per As, the RFEF medical staff said he was taken off only as a precaution, and Morata’s leg was only bruised.
Spain play again on Monday against Liechtenstein, so keep an eye out whether Morata will be in La Roja’s lineup for that match.
