Zinedine Zidane has left Marco Asensio and Isco Alarcon out of Real Madrid's list to face Sporting Portugal in the Champions League this Wednesday.

Goalkeepers: Casilla, Yáñez and Craninx.

Defenders: Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo and Danilo.

Midfielders: Kroos, James, Casemiro, Kovacic and Modric.

Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Morata.

Isco is still making his return to the team after suffering an ankle injury, but it's still surprising to see him out of the list given that he's been training with the squad for the last three days.

Asensio, on the other hand, will be a reserve now that Zidane has almost every player at his disposal. As the French manager has said many times, it's good to have the squad healthy but that will only make his job more difficult.

Real Madrid will host Sporting Portugal in what will be their first Champions League game of the season.
