Real Madrid published the squad list for Sunday's away match against Espanyol.

Goalkeepers: Casilla, Rubén Yáñez and Craninx.

Defenders: Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo and Danilo.

Midfielders: Kroos, James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric, Asensio and Isco.

Attackers: Benzema, Lucas Vázquez and Morata.

Marco Asensio and Isco Alarcon are back in the list after missing the call against Sporting Portugal. They are replacing Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, who will miss the match.

Coach Zinedine Zidane had already announced that Ronaldo and Bale would miss the game, although he did not announce who will replace them in the starting lineup.

James Rodriguez, Lucas Vazquez and Alvaro Morata performed very well against Sporting, so this match could be a good chance for them to start. However, Asensio has been Ronaldo's backup every time the Portuguese star has been out, so the young playmaker could also return to the lineup against Espanyol, where he spent last season on loan.
