Real Madrid published the squad list for Wednesday's (20:00 CET) match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Goalkeepers: Casilla, Rubén Yáñez and Craninx.
Defenders: Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Danilo.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Kovacic, Asensio and Isco.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Morata.
Luka Modric, Casemiro and Pepe will miss the match. On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are available after missing the game against Espanyol last Sunday.
Zinedine Zidane will be forced to start Toni Kroos deep in the midfield and Mateo Kovacic will most likely play alongside him. This means that James Rodriguez and Isco Alarcon will be competing for the third spot in Real's midfield line.
Villarreal are a quality team who have not lost a single game in La Liga so far. Having both Casemiro and Modric out for this one could be problematic, so Zidane faces a tough decision about his starting lineup.
