Huge game for Real Madrid ahead of an even bigger test against Borussia Dortmund next week. Los Blancos couldn't get the three points against Villarreal after competing for only 45 minutes and they will be forced to bounce back against a Las Palmas side who have been surprising so far.

Luka Modric will be back with the team after being rested last Wednesday. The Croatian midfielder is one of Madrid's most important players and Los Blancos definitely missed his creativity against Villarreal. Coach Zinedine Zidane will have to manage his minutes very carefully as Modric is already 31 years old, but rotating him will always hurt Real Madrid's chances of winning and dominating every single game.

Keylor Navas is also back with the squad after missing the first games of the season with a heel injury. It's not clear whether he will return to the lineup today as Kiko Casilla has done a very good job between the sticks. Expect Navas to start against Dortmund, however.

Las Palmas Projected XI: Varas, Macedo, Lemos, Aythami, Castellano, Tana, Mesa, Gomez, Zhar, Livaja, Viera.

Real Madrid Projected XI: Casilla, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Danilo, Kroos, Modric, James, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema.
