Las Palmas 2-2 Real Madrid: All goals and highlights

Mediocre performance by Real Madrid.

Real Madrid couldn't keep a one-goal lead twice in this game and ended up dropping two points in Las Palmas. Coach Zinedine Zidane has every right to be worried about the performance of his players, especially Cristiano Ronaldo, who is a shell of himself after making his return from knee injury.

Zidane decided to use a 4-2-3-1 formation with Asensio playing behind the striker, but the defensive performance by Varane and Ramos cost the team two points once again.

It's clear that Varane must improve if he wants to play the relevant minutes he has asked for over the last two years. Pepe is a much safer bet when he's available and it seems that Varane has regressed a bit since he became one of the world's most interesting center-backs in 2012.
