Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have recovered from their injuries and will be back with the squad when Osasuna visit the Santiago Bernabeu this Saturday, Zidane confirmed.

The French manager spoke to the press ahead of the match and explained that Marcelo, Casemiro and James "will rest" after playing in South America this week with their countries.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is back and I am as happy as he is. He's been out of the team for 60 days and we must still give him some time to get in proper condition, but he will get some minutes and play," said Zidane.

"Karim [Benzema] is as ready as he's ever been and will be with the squad tomorrow, and that is because he's 100% ready to go. He is ready but the lineup will be revealed tomorrow," he added, meaning that Benzema might not start the game.

Isco is out of the team with the ankle injury he picked up before the last game against Celta but he is expected to make his return "next week," according to Zidane.

On the other hand, Keylor Navas and Fabio Coentrao are still out as well and there is no timetable for their return.

Zidane also spoke about Real Madrid's transfer ban after FIFA confirmed that Los Blancos will not be able to register any new signings until January 2018.

"This ban is nonsense, I think it's unfair. The only thing I can tell my children is that they cannot play right now and I will explain them why. They must be patient," said Zidane.
