Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming La Liga match against Sevilla.
Sevilla Starting XI (To Be Confirmed): Rico, Mariano, Pareja, Rami, Mercado, Escudero, Vitolo, Vazquez, N'Zonzi, Nasri, Ben Yedder.
Real Madrid Starting XI: Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Ronaldo, Benzema.
Coach Zinedine Zidane decided to go with a very surprising lineup which could feature either a five-men defensive line or Marcelo playing upfront with Nacho Fernandez deployed on the left wing. It seems that the French coach wanted to have Lucas Vazquez on the bench in case he needed him late in the game, but it's still shocking to see Madrid experimenting with a new formation on one of the toughest venues in La Liga.
If this goes wrong, Zidane would still have Vazquez, Morata, Kovacic and Asensio on the bench, but Madrid didn't perform that badly last Thursday to completely change the formation.
