Sergio Ramos is not ready to face Sevilla in the first leg of the Copa del Rey. The Spanish defender picked up a small injury during Real's 3-2 win against Deportivo La Coruña and yet forced his way into the starting lineup for the Club World Cup Final, something which has not helped his body.
Real's captain will also miss the home game against Granada, meaning that he will be out of the lineups until the second leg against Sevilla, which will be played on January 12th.
Pepe, Varane and Nacho are available, though, so Zidane should not miss Ramos' presence much. Pepe, who will most likely leave the club next summer, will surely be wanting to prove he deserves the extension he wants, while Varane has to step his game up given that he is going to be the undisputed starter alongside Ramos very soon.
Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez and Mateo Kovacic will also miss the game against Sevilla.
