This will be a very important home match for Real Madrid after the two consecutive defeats against Sevilla and Celta Vigo. Even though Los Blancos are clearly expected to beat Malaga today, most of the attention will be focused on whether the players can complete a good performance to make a statement.

Players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Danilo or Karim Benzema played very poorly on Madrid's two losses and will surely be looking forward to turning things around and gain some momentum ahead of the return leg against Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals, where Real Madrid will need at least a 0-2 win to overcome Celta's deficit and advance to the Semifinals.

Coach Zinedine Zidane is not expected to make many changes for this one although some reports suggest that Isco could be back in the starting lineup after missing the last three games.

Either way, Madrid not only need a positive result but also a convincing performance in front of their home fans.
