Real Madrid Juvenil A 4-0 Real Valladolid

Juvenil got their revenge in a great match.

Franchu

On Sunday evening, Juvenil faced Real Valladolid at the stadium Alfrédo Di Stéfano. Real Valladolid were the only team this season to beat Juvenil (3:2 loss for Juvenil in the 5th round). Real Valladolid is one of the strongest team in this group, so Juvenil had to be at their best to get this win.

Guti as usual made a number of rotations and decided to name his strongest possible lineup. Manu and Alex were back, and Franchu finally returned from his injury. The only missing player from the strongest lineup was Dani Gomez, who is still injured.

Guti was aware that this wasn't an easy match and went back to his trusted 4-3-3 formation. Mink was once again positioned as striker, flanked by very quick wingers - Franchu and Alberto. Juvenil started off very strong and in the first couple of minutes as they tried to surprise Valladolid's keeper with long range efforts. Mink and Franchu were very active right from the start and their cooperation paid off in the 10th minute. Franchu received the ball in between lines and immediately released Mink, who hit it first time. It was his first goal for Juvenil A.

Juvenil continued to dominate and control the match. They created a couple of clear cut chances, but despite excellent movement and combinations from Alberto, Oscar and Franchu, they were not able to finish them off. Valladolid created a few half-chances, but the defense quickly closed them down and prevented any danger. It was nice to see Moha frequently rush out and play as a sweeper-keeper. And then, right before half time, Franchu started from his left wing, dribbled inside the box and passed it to Oscar, whose cross was deflected into the net by Valladolid's defender. It was a very important goal for Juvenil, because despite their dominance, they were leading by only 1 goal and that is always nervy situation.

In the second half, it was the same story. Juvenil were in control, Valladolid occasionally threatened, but they never managed to create clear chances. However, we must give credit to Valladolid, because even though Juvenil were playing at a very high tempo, Valladolid never looked like they were outplayed or out of depth. They held on till 67th minute, when Fran skipped past his defender, drove into the box and delivered a beautiful cross to Toni, who was arriving at the far post - 3:0 for Juvenil.

This goal shook Valladolid and they mentally gave up. From that goal on, Valladolid didn't close down the Juvenil's players fast enough and they left significant pockets of space in their defense. This was something that players like Fran and Franchu cherish and hope for. And in 75th minute, Franchu skipped past the first defender, dribbled past the second one and his lower cross found Llario alone in the box, who then had an easy job to do. 4:0 for Juvenil. Juvenil ended the game in a comfortable manner.

Final thoughts:

Juvenil are still in the first place and they have the best offense and second-best defense in Spain (Juvenil Division). There's a 8 pts gap between them and second placed team, Atleti, and with 10 games to go, it's looking very promising for Juvenil. But don't worry, there will be plenty of Juvenil's games to watch this season. They are playing for 4 trophies -> Title in their Group, National title of Division de Honor, UEFA Youth League and Copa del Rey.

There is one player I have to mention and that is Francisco Feuillasier or also known as Franchu. He is the one I suggested to promote when Ødegaard went on loan and we were looking for a player to step in his place. He was bought by Madrid this summer from Rayo Vallecano. He is 18yrs old, born in Argentina. He is an extremely fast direct left winger with excellent dribbling ability. He has an eye for a goal also, this season he scored 8 goals and produced numerous assists. His favourite move is to drive inside, take on the defenders and play one-twos with a striker. And the understanding he has with Fran García (LB) is a great benefit to Juvenil and together they form an impressive attacking pair on the left side. He is definitely one to watch out for in this Juvenil team. Disclaimer: I know that it might seem that I say this about almost every player, but this Juvenil team is packed with incredibly talented players. I strongly believe that there isn't a team in La Fabrica with this more talented players.

To give you a brief idea about him, here are his individual highlight from UEFA Youth League against Legia Warsaw:

Goals: Mink, Toni, Llario

Assists: 2x Franchu, Oscar, Fran

MOTM: Franchu
