Real Madrid published the squad list for Wednesday's Copa del Rey match against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu.
REAL MADRID'S SQUAD LIST
Goalkeepers: Navas, Casilla and Yáñez.
Defenders: Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrão and Danilo.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Casemiro, Asensio, Modric, Odegaard and Isco.
Attackers: Morata, Benzema and Mariano.
Cristiano Ronaldo is out of the list even after the Christmas break, meaning that the Copa del Rey is clearly not a priority for coach Zinedine Zidane. Pepe, Kovacic, Lucas Vazquez and Gareth Bale are also out with injuries, so Real Madrid's starting lineup could be full of reserves.
For instance, both Morata and Benzema are expected to start upfront, with either James or Isco replacing Lucas Vazquez on the right wing as well.
It's also interesting to see that Martin Ødegaard has been included in the list even after the rumors suggesting that he will be leaving the club on a loan deal.
