Real Madrid easily took care of business against Granada, even allowing coach Zinedine Zidane to make some early substitutions to take care of his men in order to have fresher legs against Sevilla next week.
- Isco was Madrid's most brilliant player until he got injured late in the first half. He scored two goals and proved that he also deserves some more minutes this year. Isco appears to be ready to compete with James Rodriguez for a spot, at least until Gareth Bale comes back from his ankle injury.
- Zidane should rotate the squad more often when La Liga teams visit the Bernabeu. Players like Isco, James Rodriguez, Nacho or Varane are more than ready to perform when Madrid host the lower-tier teams in the competition, especially now that Los Blancos will be playing three games a week more often than not.
- Madrid's pressing has improved. Los Blancos have been defending very well lately because of the excellent work by the midfielders. That's a good recipe for success right there and they will need to keep pressing this way if they want to keep dominating this season.
