Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming match against Espanyol —20:45 CET—.

Real Madrid starting XI: Keylor Navas, Achraf, Varane, Sergio Ramos, Nacho, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Modric, Isco, Marco Asensio, Ronaldo.

Espanyol starting XI: Pau López; Sergio Sánchez, David López, Mario Hermoso, Aarón; Marc Roca, Javi Fuego, Jurado, Darder, Baptistao, Gerard Moreno.

It will be important for Madrid to score an early goal as Espanyol will surely try to disrupt their rhythm and tempo of the game trying to play with the fans’ anxiety to see a home win in La Liga.

Expect Espanyol to sit back and wait for some counterattacking chances to go their way as they try to waste some time and keep it leveled just like Betis did when they visited the Bernabeu.

Either way, this is clearly a must win for Real Madrid because they’re already seven points behind Barcelona and can’t afford to drop any more points against mid-table sides at the Bernabeu.
