Referee named for Champions League match between Real Madrid and Tottenham

UEFA have appointed Szymon Marciniak as the referee in charge for the Champions League game between Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspurs which will be played on Tuesday —20:45 CET, Estadio Santiago Bernabeu—.

The Polish official Szymon Marciniak has been appointed to referee the Champions League match day 3 group stage encounter between Real Madrid and Tottenham at the Santiago Bernabéu (Tuesday, 8:45pm CEST). It will be the third time that the Polish official has overseen a game involving Real Madrid in the competition.

Last season he oversaw the clash between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund (2-2) corresponding to the Champions League group stage game, also part of the match day 6 fixtures. In the 2015-2016 he refereed the last-16 clash between Real Madrid and Roma (2-0).
