Real Madrid host Tottenham —20:45 CET— at the Santiago Bernabeu. Raphael Varane, Casemiro, Luka Modric and Isco will be back in the team’s starting lineup and should help Madrid after a poor performance last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Tottenham will be without Delle Alli, who is a key player for the London-based club. Still, Harry Kane is dangerous enough to cause Madrid some serious problems so Varane and Ramos will need to be solid and try to keep the British striker under control.
Zidane’s men are considered the heavy favorites but Tottenham’s counterattacking style could be problematic if Kroos and Modric can’t control the midfield. Still, Real Madrid should create good chances and if Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema are accurate in front of Lloris, they should probably win the game.
Madrid and Tottenham are even with six points so a win for Los Blancos would be extremely important in order to force the Spurs to beat them when they meet in London next time around.
