Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming match against Tottenham —20:45 CET—. Tottenham also confirmed their lineup.

Real Madrid starting XI: Keylor Navas; Achraf, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Modrić, Casemiro, Kroos, Isco; Benzema, Ronaldo.

Tottenham starting XI: Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Aurier, Sissoko, Dier, Winks, Eriksen, Kane, Llorente.

It will be extremely important for Real Madrid to control the midfield against a very quick and powerful counterattacking team in Tottenham. Casemiro will be crucial for Los Blancos tonight as he will be the man in charge of preventing the Spurs from creating good chances when they recover the ball.

Real Madrid have been playing somewhat mediocre football lately and yet they’ve managed to at least bounce back from the disappointing results they got at the Bernabeu early in the season. Still, Tottenham could be considered the best team Los Blancos have faced since the team won the Spanish Super Cup so Zidane’s men have to be ready if they want to take care of business.
