The attacker wasn’t available for Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale has finally joined the Welsh national team just one day after missing Real Madrid’s home game against Espanyol with a small hamstring problem which, as always, could be tricky.

Apparently, Bale will feature in the two games Wales will play during this FIFA break, even though he clearly could need to spend some more time on the sidelines recovering from his muscle problems. He reportedly passed a fitness test.

If he stays healthy, coach Zinedine Zidane will be able to deploy the BBC of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale soon enough, given that Benzema will probably recover from his injury during this FIFA break. It will be interesting to see which player gets dropped to the bench to make room for the attacking trio, given that Zidane has admitted multiple times that he plans to use the BBC when the three players are available and ready to go.

Zidane and the rest of the coaching staff will keep their fingers crossed during these two weeks hoping that Bale avoids any injuries.
