Real Madrid are about to complete the signing of Brazilian wonder kid Alan, from Palmeiras and who’s completing brilliant performances for Brazil U17 in India. The player will join Madrid next summer and will play for Castilla, according to a report from AS.

Alan has a €50 million release clause but Real Madrid will complete a cheaper deal as Alan’s contract with Palmeiras expires in 2019 and will force the Brazilian club to sell him now if they don’t want their gem leaving as a free agent.

Alan is an attacking midfield who plays behind the striker and may grow into a very interesting player. However, it’s clear that he will not be capable of helping Madrid’s first team in the near future and this would be an investment for the long term just like Vinicius Junior or Martin Odegaard.

This is Real Madrid’s new transfer policy as Los Blancos are trying to recruit young talent all around the world and then try to develop those players in Spain.
