Real Madrid host Eibar after playing a tough match against Tottenham last Tuesday. Recently recovered players like Marcelo and Karim Benzema have not rested ever since they made their return to the starting lineup, meaning that coach Zinedine Zidane could possibly make some rotations this Sunday in order to have his starters on fresh legs.

However, it’s also true that most of those starters will be able to rest when Madrid visit Fuenlabrada for the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie next Thursday, so Zidane might as well decide to deploy most of his regulars.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Casilla, Achraf, Nacho, Ramos, Theo, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Eibar predicted XI: Dmitrovic, Capa, Arbilla, Oliveira, Lomban, Junca, Jordan, Garcia, Escalante, Inui, Enrich.

Real Madrid are clearly the favorites in this one and should definitely have enough to beat Eibar at home and earn the three points even with some reserves on the pitch. Still, they probably thought the same when they hosted Levante or Betis and still couldn’t get the win, so Zidane will make sure that his players have the right mindset coming into the game.
