Real Madrid CEO Jose Angel Sanchez says that the club are not planning on making any signings this winter.

“We’re not thinking about signing players this next winter, we’re not planning on it,” said Sanchez. “In any case, this is a question for the coach, but there is no intention to sign any players this winter,” he added.

Most reports from Spain suggested that Real Madrid could try to add some depth to their attacking line but it seems that the club will not make any kind of move to improve the roster, something which could hurt the team down the road as it happened during the first few weeks of the season while Cristiano Ronaldo was suspended.

Either way, it makes sense for Madrid to wait until next summer as most clubs don’t want to sell key players in the winter market. Expect Los Blancos to add some more promising players after the end of the season.
