Although reports emerged from Wales’ camp suggesting that Gareth Bale had completed a fitness test and was ready to play the two games for his country during this FIFA break, the Welsh star will finally leave the team’s meeting after feeling pain on Monday night, Sky Sports reported today.
Bale apparently has a hamstring injury that could force him to miss a few weeks, per that same report. He will undergo tests today to see what kind of injury he has and how much time he will need to be out of the field of play.
Bale has always had problems with muscle injuries so it was a bit shocking to see that he was going to play for Wales after missing Sunday’s match for Real Madrid. However, it clearly seems that he will need some more time to recover after being taken off during Real’s 1-3 win against Dortmund a week ago.
