It’s clear that Kane sitting this game would be a big loss for Tottenham and a relief for Real Madrid’s defensive line now that Varane will miss Wednesday’s match. Sergio Ramos’ form has left much to be desired this season and a player of Kane’s caliber could very well make things very tough for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid will need to beat Tottenham at Wembley if they want to control their own destiny in this Group Stage. While it’s true that they have almost clinched their presence in the Round of 16, it will be extremely important for Madrid to win the group and after the 1-1 draw at home against the Spurs they will need a better result coming out of Wednesday’s game.
