Real Madrid have published Gareth Bale’s medical report confirming that the Welsh star has a calf injury, one that is apparently not as serious as initially expected and reported in the Spanish media.
Following tests carried out on Gareth Bale, he has been diagnosed with swelling but no tear in the soleus muscle of his left leg. His recovery will be monitored.

Apparently, Bale could be sidelined one month with this injury, considering that he has had recurrent problems on his calf in the past. Muscle injuries are always tricky and even more so if Bale is the player suffering the injury, so Real Madrid’s coaching staff will not rush him back.
Bale suffered this injury during Real Madrid’s 1-3 win against Dortmund and just when Zidane was hoping to reunite the attacking trio of the BBC as Karim Benzema will most likely be available for Madrid’s next game after this FIFA break. Bale was ruled out for Wales’ matches against Georgia and Ireland.
