Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal could be training with his teammates next week, according to a report from Onda Cero. This is shocking news for the club and the player as other reports suggested that he was out indefinitely and that he could need to spend two or three months away from the pitch, so take Onda Cero’s report with a grain of salt.
Carvajal was diagnosed with a pericarditis and that’s a complicated illness as it’s impossible for the patient to do any kind of exercise, meaning that Carvajal could possibly need to complete some kind of small pre-season stage in order to regain the form he has lost during this time.
It’s unclear whether Carvajal will indeed be recovered from his illness as early as next week, so Nacho will most certainly be the one player replacing him on the right side of the defensive line while he’s out.
